In the screen shot below I have minimized the program and it leaves the temps in the upper right-hand corner to easily monitor while testing. "You make a living by what you get. I thought it was some bug in the program, so I installed Core Temp. It was also showing 0C. I wanted to triple-check, so I installed AMD Overdrive.

WebAug 20, 2010 · I went from the default x15.5 straight to x17, taking the cpu from 3.1ghz to 3.4ghz, and left the voltage unchanged. I only tested with orthos small FFTs for 10 minutes and will test it overnight at that same setting. Within a minute, the cpu temp went to 43c and the core temp went to 25c on my reading (so about 45c in real terms).
